About Me
Self-love does not mean being free from flaws or imperfections; rather, it often develops from embracing and accepting ourselves as we are. To cultivate self-love, one must confront insecurities and learn from experiences, nurturing a sense of compassion and understanding for oneself through both successes and struggles.

So, why me?
My journey toward self-love began in childhood, influenced by experiences of abandonment and mistreatment from people I once trusted. These challenges taught me the importance of establishing boundaries and raising my standards for those I allow in my life. After years of reflection, I faced my fears, shame, and guilt, ultimately changing a negative self-image into one defined by resilience and strength.
As part of my healing process, I made the intentional decision to distance myself from relationships that no longer supported my growth, including long-standing ties with family and friends. I replaced these connections with practices like gratitude, forgiveness, and mindfulness and meditation. Sharing my story through writing and public speaking has become a way for me to engage with others and to support them in navigating conflicts in their relationships—with family, friends, partners, and, importantly, themselves. Recognizing feelings of being stuck, isolated, or unworthy is a crucial step toward self-love, as these emotions can often lead us away from our authentic selves.
If my journey resonates with you,
I encourage you to reach out for a conversation now. Embrace the journey of self-love. Recognizing your own worth is essential, and by cultivating resilience and nurturing a mindset centered on what truly matters to you, you can grow in wisdom, strength, and courage. This path allows you to discover the limitless potential within yourself.

I've repaired relationship with my family because of the coaching from Joan. I have built healthy habits from what I have learned from being coached and I am applying them in other aspects of my life. It would have continued to have cost my happiness , a damage relationship with my sister. To me you can't put a value on that. I'm forever grateful for the support.
